Dutch premiere of a Broadway classic

A family drama about daring to hold on to dreams even as they threaten to dry up in the pace of life. Staged in an abstracted domestic setting that could be turned manually 360 degrees, A Raisin in the Sun enjoyed a sell-out tour praised by critics and audiences alike.

“The acting style is highly realist. Director Teunkie van der Sluijs has clearly envisaged a universal, timeless drama, which impeccably demonstrates the enduring significance of the production’s themes.”
